Galantis’ most intimate work to date will be included on the 14-track album, which is scheduled for release on May 17. The new album, which is a direct follow-up to 2015’s breakthrough debut, Pharmacy, will examine Christian Karlsson’s neurodiversity and how medicine has had a significant impact on his current way of life.

Karlsson’s album, according to a press release announcing Rx, is his “most soul-baring work yet.” “Pharmacy was when I knew I was neurodivergent and I knew the studio was like a pharmacy for me,” he stated. “The patient was me. I discovered medication through Rx. It was important to me, although everyone follows a different route, of course.”
