Renforshort, a genre-bending phenomenon located in Los Angeles and originally from Toronto, was born Lauren Isenberg.
Her unique style and genuine storytelling have gained her attention. She releases her new track, “hurt like it should,” today, along with the news of her upcoming project, clean hands bad water, which is set to launch on May 17. The catchy hit “serpentine” from the previous album, clean hands filthy water, is featured on today’s new single “hurt like it should.” Clean hands, dirty water exploits emotional seclusion and coming-of-age situations to unveil unadulterated, melancholic alt-pop hits and ballads. The entire artwork for the EP was created in charcoal, which is an inherently filthy medium.
