Ani DiFranco – Unprecedented Sh!t (Album)

On May 17, Ani DiFranco 23rd album, Unprecedented Sh!t, will be available through her company, Righteous Babe Records. A press statement claims that the title is a “poignant political and social commentary on the contemporary global landscape” and represents a change in the singer-songwriter’s sound. Produced by BJ Burton (Bon Iver), the forthcoming project will have 11 tracks, including the hits “The Thing at Hand” and “New Bible,” which describes itself as a “different way of living outside of consumerism.”
