Dehd – Poetry (Album)

The Chicago trio’s first studio album since Blue Skies in 2022 is titled “Mood Ring.”

Poetry comes after Dehd’s Blue Skies album from 2022. While traveling to Taos, New Mexico, and the Puget Sound, they worked on the new record. Singer and bassist Emily Kempf described the experience in a press release, saying, “Eating, sleeping, breathing, living—our only purpose was to write.” At Chicago’s Palisade Studio, Dehd and co-producer Ziyad Asrar completed the record.
